Vincent Le Guennou is a Managing Director, Founding Partner, and Co-CEO of Emerging Capital Partners (ECP). As Co-CEO, Mr. Le Guennou implements ECP’s investment strategy and manages relationships with shareholders and portfolio companies. He serves on ECP’s Executive Committee and on the Funds’ investment committees.

Prior to joining ECP in 2000 as Director for West Africa and the Maghreb, Mr. Le Guennou worked six years for the International Department of the Saur Group, a former affiliate of the Bouygues Group, which specializes in water and electricity distribution and waste water treatment. While on secondment from Saur, Mr. Le Guennou served as Chief Financial Officer of Compagnie Ivoirienne d’Electricité in Côte d’Ivoire, one of the country’s largest companies listed on the regional stock exchange. Mr. Le Guennou has served on the boards of various African companies, including Charaf Corporation (Morocco), All Africa Airways (Mauritius), Air Ivoire (Côte d’Ivoire), Société Internationale de Plantations d’Hévéas (SIPH) (West Africa), Veolia Water Maroc (Morocco), Continental Reinsurance (Nigeria), Eranove (West Africa), Général Assurance Méditerranéenne (Algeria), Société d’Articles Hygiéniques (SAH) (Tunisia), Oragroup (West and Central Africa), and Maarifa Education (East Africa).

Mr. Le Guennou began his career in 1989 in Arthur Andersen’s Paris office, where he became Senior Auditor in the Banking and Capital Markets Division. He holds an MBA from Harvard Business School and a bachelor’s degree in economics from Université de Paris Dauphine. He is a graduate of l’Ecole des Hautes Etudes Commerciales in Paris.
