Bryce Fort is a Managing Director and Founding Partner of Emerging Capital Partners (ECP). Mr. Fort is responsible for identifying, analyzing, and recommending investments, performing due diligence, and leading transaction teams. Mr. Fort is also deeply involved with operations and strategies related to the ECP Management Company.
Prior to joining ECP in 2002, Mr. Fort worked for Deutsche Bank AG’s European Healthcare Corporate Finance Group which executed mergers and acquisitions and equity and debt financing for pharmaceutical, biotech, and medical device companies.
Mr. Fort received a bachelor’s degree cum laude in computer engineering with a minor in economics from Lehigh University. He has served on the boards of Remitix Holdings (Pan Africa), Java House (East Africa), IHS Holdings (Pan Africa), Cellcom Telecommunications (West Africa), Wananchi Group Holdings (East Africa), Maarifa Education (East Africa), New Dawn Mining (Zimbabwe), and Central African Gold (Zimbabwe).
ECP has raised over $2.7 billion for investment and is a leading private equity manager focused exclusively on Africa. ECP has six offices across Africa and over 17 years of investing experience, having made over 60 investments and 40 exits with operations in over 40 countries on the continent.
