With operations throughout East Africa, Wananchi is a media and telecommunications company specializing in pay television and high-speed internet services in both retail and corporate sectors. Wananchi is East Africa’s first triple play company offering digital pay television, broadband Internet, and voice-over-IP services under the brand name Zuku (retail) and Simbanet (corporate). Wananchi also launched a Satellite Pay TV service across East Africa offering 140 channels of news, documentaries, educational shows, and movies.
