August 23, 2019: Artcaffé Group has announced the opening of its 29th outlet, Artcaffé Coffee & Bakery at the Kitengela Mall in Kitengela.
The 130-seat establishment marks yet another opening for the Group in 2019, having also opened two outlets earlier this year on Mombasa Road. The Kitengela branch also marks the chain’s first expansion outside of the capital city of Nairobi.
Kitengela, one of the top ten fastest growing towns in Kenya, was an attractive site because of its burgeoning manufacturing industry and growing consumer class. Artcaffé will become a social hub for the local area, appealing to Kenyans in search of a cosmopolitan experience.
The Group has multiple new locations in the pipeline scheduled to open in 2019. Continued expansion serves to further strengthen Artcaffé’s position, enabling the company to contribute meaningfully to the local economy by creating employment, paying taxes, and supporting local supply chains.
